Pearson's Middle-Level Reading Academy features three discrete 7-week courses that help teachers enhance student literacy and improve comprehension in content area classrooms, including:
- Assessment practices for screening and diagnosing reading challenges in content area classrooms
- Instructional strategies to promote engaged reading and comprehension of content-specific materials
- Interweaving the teaching of reading within the teaching of content
