Evaluation Systems

The Evaluation Systems group of Pearson, formerly National Evaluation Systems (NES), offers a custom suite of testing services for creating and administering teacher certification tests that align with the teacher certification requirements and student academic standards of a specific state. We work with state education agencies to develop and administer customized teacher certification testing programs in more than one hundred content fields, professional teaching skills, and the basic skills of reading, writing, and mathematics. Our tests are administered by computer or on paper. Our contracts span the country and have included the states of Arizona, California, Colorado, Georgia, Florida, Illinois, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Mexico, New York, Oklahoma, Oregon, Texas, Virginia, and Washington.
