Thematic Approach with a Clear Chronological Organization and a Strong Geographical Emphasis
Originally developed by a committee of high school teachers to emphasize world history themes, the eight thematic parts clearly trace the major chronological eras of the world’s history. The text links chronology, themes, and geography and moves progressively along a time-line from the emergence of early humans to the present day. The narrative and instructional features focus on three questions: What Do We Know? How Do We Know It? What Difference Does it Make?
