Pearson Social Studies is dedicated to inspiring Citizen Scholars . All Pearson Social Studies Programs K-12 ask students Essential Questions based on the Understanding by Design Model created by Dr. Grant Wiggins. The Essential Questions are the basis for coverage of Common Core Literacy and Social Studies standards. Students are supported with 21st Century Skills throughout each of the programs. Students are asked to transfer content into action by applying what they have learned with one of the following activities:
